Fitness!
One of my favourite things to do to care of myself is fitness, exercise and staying in shape. I started my fitness journey when I was on the cusp of turning 17. I went to a personal training place in Abbostford. They were so kind and I still go to get training! My personal trainer is so kind, loving, caring and understanding. Every time I didn’t really want to come in, he would be so energetic, enthusing and we have great conversations.
Timeline
2025 - I started to enquire to gyms at the end of the year for personal training. Found a place in the inner north that was the best yet could not get in because it was all booked. Comes June and I get a call from the place saying to come in for a free appraisal of the place. Plus a tour. I asked about prices and they said it would be $1,200 for 12 months of personal training. Or $125 a month. I committed to the 12 month plan. Asked my parents for this birthday gift, they agreed. Got it for my birthday and then I booked an appointment for three days before my birthday. Got some before pictures taken and then they started to get me on a proper diet plan, which I asked to not feel like a diet. They did it quite well! Then after they tested my stamina, in regards to cardio and strength training. They told me it was good for my height (6,1) and age. They then said “We can make it even better”.
By the end of 2025, I went down around 5% in body fat and gained 4% in muscle, strictly following the diet. They said that my progress was going great, they also invited to me into pursuing some kind of sport I could do by myself or some kind of fitness activity outside
